In between the June 7th Council Meeting and the June 21st Council Meeting there has been a lot of activity within the beautiful Village of West Jefferson.
For instance, if you have not seen the finished work of the Gazebo, then come by and see the fresh paint, trimmed landscaping, and cleaned area.
Also, on June 14th a Columbus man was charged with four counts of murder.
We cannot allow this crime to tarnish the beauty of the Village of West Jefferson. Such crimes are rare but our kindness is no so unheard of.
Take for instance the support from West Jefferson Hardware, the volunteered time, sweat, and energy from Jefferson Township Fire Department, and the hours of work from the Charter Review Commission, just to name a few.
Lastly, Council will meet on June 21, 2021 at 7:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers. Near the end of the meeting, the Council will move into Executive Session. The Public Notice and the Agenda is posted here and the Calendar is here.
As always, if you have any questions, please contact the Clerk of Council here.
