As we approach the end of another year, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we have shared as I have served as mayor. I am honored that I will continue to serve for the coming term, and thank each of you for this opportunity.
As we celebrate the holidays, remember the importance of coming together, supporting one another, and cherishing the moments with our families and friends.
One such moment will be Christmas in the Park on December 8 and 9. Volunteers have been working so hard to create a winter wonderland, and getting ready for this event is a huge undertaking. This is small town living at its very best, and I want to express my gratitude to the dedicated individuals who make these events happen, as well as to our public servants, first responders, educators, and our amazing youth coaches and others who work daily to serve our community.
Congratulations to our Roughrider Football team! What a season! I have loved being a spectator at most games, and especially at the Rider sendoffs!
Let’s approach the new year with a shared determination to make our Village an even better place for all. Challenges will happen, but by working together, they can be overcome.
Have a joyful holiday season!
